Xtreme Exposures was founded by Al Topping in early 2019. (You're right, it was very bad timing but no plan survives first contact with the enemy, right?)
Al's been an outdoorsman for over 20 years, first climbing and hill walking at school in the Midlands. He spent most of his former years at the crags around Derbyshire and in North Wales before moving to Scotland for university.
Nothing was better than a weekend away from school camping and climbing in Snowdonia living on tinned beans, counting pennies for a trip to the pub in the evening and climbing big adventurous routes we'd seen in the guide book.
Whenever he went climbing, Al took a camera, usually to take a photo of the routes he climbed so he could add them to his logbook but also of the people he climbed with in the places he went to.
Things have moved on since those days and now, as well as offering private clients photography services for weddings, portraits and event photography under the trading name Al Topping Photos & Film, Al runs Xtreme Exposures for those with similar passions for the outdoors as himself.
