We are actively seeking both male and female, dog-friendly models for a clothing photography and video shoot around the Southern Lake District (TBC) area on Friday 10th and 17th January 2025.

This a paid opportunity for up to 12 hours involvement in 40-hour sessions. £60 is available per 4 hour period making a total of £180 available per model. Ideally we'd like each model for all 12 hours but accept this may not always be possible.

The details of the shoot are as follows: 

• Up to 8 hours for outdoor lifestyle photo & video. Models will be required to interact with a dog in set of playful scenarios to create a fun set of light-hearted dog-themed clothing focussed images and video. This session is likely to be conducted around Elterwater - TBC
• Up to 4 hours for an indoor studio shoot for both models. Models will be required to pose for product shots wearing our client's clothing. No dog involved. This session will occur around Greyrigg (East of Kendal)
• Each session type will be decided by my client in the week leading up to the session date to account for weather and so models will need to be flexible with their travel arrangements.

Model requirements

Models need to be between 35 - 55 years old, without mobility restrictions and health conditions preventing them from committing fully to the requirements of each session. All demographics considered but must otherwise fill the following requirements.

• Male Model Requirements: Must fit High Street clothing size men's Large
• Female Model Requirements: Must fit High Street clothing size women's 14 with a bust no bigger than D-cup.
• Both models will be required to own and wear either blue jeans or grey walking trousers to accompany my client's products. A plain fleece, unbranded dark outer layer/jacket is also recommended. A model's own clothing must fit and be free from rips (intentional or not). Outdoor appropriate shoes of the model's choice are also required. Ideally, walking shoes/boots, wellies or trail shoes etc. No white trainers!
• Previous modelling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• My client is also especially interested to receive applications from models who have a well behaved dog who they are happy to bring and be involved.

Please include details of any previous modelling experience and your availability for the each of the two paid sessions stated above.

Models will be required to sign a model release form before commencing this role.

Photo requirements

All applicants must ensure they supply

• at least one photograph showing their full body appearance from the front,
• one full length photo from the side
• and at least one photograph showing their full face without sunglasses or hats etc to allow my client to select a model who fits their brand.

Please note, if you don't supply a suitable set of photos your application will not be taken forward.

2025 Short-Notice Model List

My client is also keen to receive applications from potential models who are keen to be kept on their list of short-notification opportunities for subsequent content creation. These will be 'last-minute' opportunities where a weather-window has presented itself and we have an immediate short notice opportunity. If you wish to apply for this list for future paid work, please submit an application below stating you're interested in being considered for these opportunities. You do not need to be free for the sessions in January 2025 to be retained on this list.
